This Privacy Policy describes how Rosalino ("the App," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our desktop application. We are committed to transparency, data minimization, and full compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

Rosalino respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have as a user. By using the Rosalino desktop application, you agree to the practices described herein.

• Account details — If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
• Preferences and settings — App configuration, theme choices, language preferences, and user-customized settings stored locally on your device.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Crash reports and diagnostics — Anonymous, aggregated data about app performance, error logs, and system information (OS version, hardware specs) to help us improve stability.
• Usage analytics — Anonymous data about feature usage patterns, collected only if you opt in. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Device identifiers — A unique, non-reversible identifier generated locally for session tracking and license validation purposes.

• Local storage — Most user data (preferences, settings, cached content) is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
• Cloud sync — If you opt into cloud sync, data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
• Encryption — All data transmitted between the App and our servers uses TLS 1.3 encryption.
• Data retention — Crash reports and analytics data are retained for a maximum of 90 days, then automatically deleted.

6. iOS & App Store Compliance

While Rosalino is a desktop application, we design our privacy practices to meet or exceed Apple's App Store privacy requirements, including:

We do not track users across apps and websites owned by other companies. We do not share user data with data brokers or advertising partners for cross-app tracking purposes.

We comply with Apple's App Privacy Manifest requirements, declaring all data collection practices transparently. Our manifest declares no data collection for tracking purposes.

6.4 End-to-End Encryption (if applicable)

Where user data is synced via our cloud service, end-to-end encryption may be implemented to ensure only the user can decrypt their data.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Rosalino is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us to request deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
